Members of the Cornish Guild of Smallholders are united by a common appreciation of the land, its fauna and flora, and the animals and crops grown thereon; and will ensure that a new generation can marvel at the variety of our Cornish heritage passed on to them.

The Dyfed Smallholders’ Association has a website with a members-only section as well as general info, a monthly newsletter, regular meetings featuring guest speakers, help-lines, and hosted events such as  summer farm visits. 

One membership fee covers up to four people per holding or household.

Empire FarmSally and Adrian Morgan of  The Empire Farm  run a wide range of
butchery and livestock courses on their organic farm based in the
Blackmore Valley in Somerset. Courses include pork butchery and sausage
making, curing and smoking meat, dealing with wild game, keeping poultry

The Norfolk Smallholders Training Group was set up in the late 1980s and has members all over Norfolk (plus a few in other counties). Organises training courses requested by members and over the spring and summer has visits to each other's holdings. In addition the Group attends various local shows with members manning the stall. Hugh Fearnley–Whittingstall and his colleagues at River Cottage believe in sustainable agriculture and local food production. They work to promote this by funding organisations that are helping to build local, sustainable communities.
